About this file
This is a Minimum Requirements Document dated August 7, 2025, outlining procurement requirements for bulk liquid nitrogen to support AFRL/RY's gas usage operations. The document specifies the need for liquid nitrogen supply services for two existing bulk storage tanks located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Area B: Tank A with 11,000 gallons capacity and Tank B with 6,000 gallons capacity, totaling 17,000 gallons of storage capability.
The key requirements include providing liquid nitrogen to fill the AFRL/RY bulk nitrogen tanks using electronic telemetry systems to monitor and manage tank levels. All tanks must maintain a minimum capacity of no less than 70 inches, and the maximum pounds/gallons of liquid nitrogen will be determined through individual Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) calls. The contractor will be responsible for tracking tank levels remotely and ensuring consistent supply to prevent tanks from falling below the specified minimum threshold. The document references Attachment 2 for specific location details of the tanks at the Air Force base.
