About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Compact Diode Laser Light Source. The government is seeking a laser instrument that meets the following technical specifications: main wavelength at 1064 nm, 50 mJ energy per pulse, pulse duration greater than 10 ns, beam diameter greater than 3 mm, pulse-to-pulse energy stability less than 2%, energy drift less than 5%, air-cooled, and able to operate on 48 VDC and 110-240 VAC input power. The total space usage must be less than 280 mm in length, and the instrument must have 1-year system and optics warranties, as well as a 1 billion shot warranty on the laser diodes. The government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract, with the basis for award being best value considering technical specifications and price. Quotes are due by August 12, 2024 at 4:00 PM Central Standard Time.
