About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the United States Military Entrance Processing Command's (USMEPCOM) requirement to lease 67 parking spaces near the Miami Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) located in the Claude Pepper Federal Building. The parking spaces are needed due to the MEPS Miami's recent relocation to a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) building without parking, which has created financial and administrative burdens.
The SOW specifies detailed requirements for the parking lot, including 65 spaces available weekdays from 0500-1900 and 2 spaces available 24/7 for government vehicles. Key specifications include minimum parking space dimensions of 18 feet long by 8.5 feet wide, asphalt or concrete surface with proper drainage, security features like lighting and cameras, a safe walking path to the federal building, and regular maintenance. The contract period will be one base year with four 12-month option periods, located within a defined area bounded by NW 2nd St, SE 1st Ave, SW 3rd St, and SW 2nd Ave in Miami, Florida. The performance requirements will be monitored through customer feedback mechanisms.
