About this file

The contractor shall provide a dedicated drop zone capable of supporting the USAPT's fleet of two medium and three light aircraft located at Laurinburg Maxton Airport in North Carolina, within walking distance of an existing USAPT training facility. The period of performance is a base year from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024 with four optional one-year extensions. The contracting activity is the Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Knox. The anticipated cost is determined to be fair and reasonable. Approval is granted pursuant to the authority under the United States Code to procure these services on a sole source basis from Laurinburg Maxton Airport.

The related federal contract opportunity is a special notice for airport drop zone access fees for the United States Army Parachute Team issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Sam Houston.
