3.1 Instruct Course “MATLAB Fundamentals”
The contractor will conduct the three-day course entitled “MATLAB Fundamentals”. The contractor shall provide all required course materials (i.e. laptop, course manual, and course file DVD/USB) for a maximum of up to twenty
(20) attendees. This course is intended for beginners and individuals desiring to review course information and materials. No prior programming experience or knowledge of MATLAB is assumed, and the course is structured to allow thorough assimilation of ideas through hands-on examples and exercises. MATLAB competency is developed in a natural way, with an emphasis on practical application to engineering. Themes of data analysis, visualization, modeling and programming are explored throughout the course.
The course shall cover (but is not limited to):
Working with MATLAB user interface
Entering commands and creating variables
Performing analysis on vectors and matrices
Visualizing vector and matrix data
Working with data files/data types
Automating commands with scripts
Writing programs with logic and flow control
3.2 Instruct “MATLAB Programming Techniques”
The contractor may conduct the two (2) day course titled “MATLAB Programming Techniques.” The contractor shall provide all required course materials (i.e. laptop), course manual and course file DVD/USB) for a maximum of up to twenty (20) attendees. This course provides hands-on experience using the features in the MATLAB language to write efficient, robust, and well-organized code. These concepts form the foundation for writing full applications, developing algorithms, and extending built-in MATLAB capabilities. Details of performance optimization are covered.
This course shall cover (but is not limited to):
Programming for correctness
Structuring data
Structuring code
Classes and objects
PREREQUISITE: MATLAB Fundamentals or equivalent experience using MATLAB and familiarity with basic programming concepts.
3.3 Instruct “MATLAB Signal Processing”
The contractor may conduct the two (2) day course titled “MATLAB for Signal Processing.” The contractor shall provide all required course materials (i.e. laptop, course manual and course file DVD/USB)for a maximum of twenty (20) attendees. This two-day course shows attendees how to analyze signals and design signal processing systems using MATLAB and Signal Processing Toolbox. Parts of the course will also use the Filter Design
Toolbox.
This course shall cover (but is not limited to):
Creating and analyzing signals
