About this file

This is Amendment 0002 to solicitation W519TC-24-R-0011 for Global Protective Services (GPS), issued by the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island. The amendment makes multiple corrections and clarifications to the original solicitation and Amendment 0001, including: removing the requirement for offerors to submit redacted proposal copies, correcting work sample qualification requirements, updating the Performance Work Statement with revised definitions of contingency environment and security experience categories, and clarifying that only a SECRET facility clearance (not TOP SECRET) is required at the base IDIQ level.

Key changes include reducing the military experience requirement for Fixed/Mobile Guard U.S. EXPAT positions from 4 years to 3 years, adding definitions for various security experience categories (including guard, loss prevention, executive protection, and investigations experience), updating equipment monitoring requirements, and clarifying that specific mobilization plans and protective equipment requirements will be determined at the task order level. The amendment includes updates to four attachments: the Performance Work Statement, Section L Instructions to Offerors, Explosive Detection Canine Team Assessment Standards, and the DD Form 254 Contract Security Classification specification.
