About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the repair and replacement of a damaged HVAC system at Edwards Air Force Base in California. The Air Force Test Center is requesting parts and services to remove and replace the existing inoperable HVAC unit that provides a controlled climate environment for hazardous material storage. The work must be completed within 30 days after contract award and meet explosion-proof and fire-proof standards. The government will inspect the equipment upon delivery and has the right to refuse damaged or faulty items. The SOW is related to a pre-solicitation Request for Information (RFI) for HVAC repair services, which is being issued to determine the acquisition strategy and interested capable contractors. The RFI indicates the contract will likely be a firm-fixed price under NAICS code 238220 with a size standard of $19M. Responses to the RFI are due by July 17, 2023.
