About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the United States Army Medical Research and Development Command (MRDC) for research and development services related to the "Pivotal validation of a novel countermeasure to improve recovery following traumatic brain injury (TBI) combined with hemorrhagic shock in prolonged field care, delayed evacuation, or remote settings before evacuation."

The key objectives are to determine whether intravenous administration of tatM2NX will improve neurological severity score (NSS), memory function, and reduce neuronal cell death and TBI-related biomarkers in a swine model. The RFI also requests information on the offeror's ability to conduct the required research and provide pharmacokinetic and safety data. Responses are due by April 18, 2024, and should be submitted electronically. The NAICS code for this potential action is 541714 - Research and Development in Biotechnology. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or obligation on the part of the government.
