About this file

This document is a Minimum Essential Characteristics (MEC) for calibration standard sets required by the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA), Medical Field Systems (MFS) Project Management Office (PMO). The MEC specifies the required model numbers, descriptions, and quantities of 18 different calibration and measurement items, including pressure calibrators, thermometers, and mass flow controllers, that are needed to test, verify, calibrate, and repair the Fluke VT900A+VAPOR gas flow analyzer and anesthesia tester. The required delivery date is 45 days after contract award.

The related federal contract opportunity is a special notice for a sole source procurement of these calibration standard sets from Fluke Electronics Corporation, the only known source able to meet the government's requirements.
