About this file
This document is a set of vendor questions related to a Linen/Scrub Rental, Pickup, Wash, and Delivery Service solicitation for Nellis Air Force Base. The current incumbent is 9W HALO WESTERN OPCO L.P. with contract number FA486120D0003 and a total contract value of $1,724,885.12. The solicitation (HT941025Q2095) is issued by the Defense Health Agency for Mike O'Callaghan Military Medical Center, seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive laundry and linen rental services.
Key details include clarifications on pricing and quantities, with vendors instructed to use estimated quantities from Appendices E and F. The solicitation allows past performance references from non-healthcare linen contracts within the last two years. Specific guidance was provided on linen item handling, recommending two Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs): one for "Bulk" rental and another for "Scrub" rental, both covering delivery, pickup, and washing services. The contract will require management of linen inventories, including specific quantities, sizes, colors, and styles of scrubs and linens.

1. Contract Number: What is the contract number for the incumbent award? FA486120D0003
1. Total Contract Value: What is the total value (including all option years) of the incumbent contract? $1,724,885.12
1. Item Lists: Are Appendices D & E in the PWS intended to represent the exact quantities for pricing, or should they be treated as estimates? I’m working with the customer to find out the answer to this question and will post the answer to SAM once I have it.
1. COG Item Handling: For Government-owned (COG) linen items, can you confirm whether laundering costs should be priced separately or incorporated into the overall per-unit pricing? I believe all linen items will need to be rented from the awardee of this contract.
1. Past Performance: Will references from non-healthcare linen contracts (but similar in scope and logistics) be considered relevant past performance? Yes as long as they are within the last two years.
1. Item Lists: Are Appendices D & E in the PWS intended to represent the exact quantities for pricing, or should they be treated as estimates? (Appendix E & F are the estimates for pricing as linen usage fluctuates every month
1. COG Item Handling: For Government-owned (COG) linen items, can you confirm whether laundering costs should be priced separately or incorporated into the overall per-unit pricing? (Yes, proceed with one CLIN for “Bulk” rental, delivery, pickup, and washing and a second CLIN for “Scrub” rental, delivery, pickup, and washing.)
I had a vendor call that was wondering what quantities to base their quote on? Appendix E and F.
For rental of laundry, are all items in Appendix E and F being rented at the quantities stated? One specific item mentioned would be the Curtain Cubicle Large 16’-23’. Past order details show 11 total for the past option year and 0 for this current option year (seems case by case). Everything else should be Appendix E and F at the estimated quantities stated.
Should the vendor be basing the quantities based off of the quantities in Appendix E and F? Yes
In appendix E there are two line items with the same description “curtain, cubicle” but with different quantities, which one is supposed to be used? And can I delete the line that isn’t needed. Please see below dimensions added in red. Follow-up question, since Curtain Cubicle Large 16’-23’ is a rare order, with no projected monthly estimate, how would you want this added to the PWS?

| Curtain, Cubicle Small 5’-9’ |
