QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1. Technical Exhibit 1E, are the average quantities provided based on a per pick-up basis or weekly, monthly, annually, etc?

Ans: Quantities are based on a daily pick-up basic according to the pick-up/delivery schedule for each location.

The price will be based on round trip per location. If the contractor doesn’t visit one of the location no billing should be submitted.

2. Are the repairs for only items that have been damaged by the negligence of the contractor or any damaged items that have been received by the contractor?

Ans: negligence of the contractor

3. Where in Exhibit 1 (TE-1) does it show the quantity of items for packaging?

Ans: This is referring to the clean laundry when it is returned to the location.

4. Technical Exhibit 1 (TE-1) Lists an average quantity. Is this the Maximum? If not, can the government please provide the maximum?

Ans: The quantity listed is the total quantity for each location that may/may not have to be laundry.

Ex: On a pick-up day the location may have different quantities of each to be laundry, they may have none of some of the items listed. It depends on what linen was used by the clinic prior to pick-up day.

5. If the customer will be counting the laundry amounts and keeping track, will they notify the contractor if the amount exceeds the maximum range?

Ans: Yes. However, in no circumstance will the contractor accept more quantities than what is included in the contract.

6. (TE-1) Does the Average Quantity in TE1 reflect the average amount per pick up, per week, per month, per year, or 5 years?

Ans: Refer to question 1 answer.

7. Is this contract a Firm Fixed Price by Month or a per piece pricing?

Ans: This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. Billing will be monthly according to the price sheet per item. One invoice will be submitted monthly, each location shall be identified in separate line item.

Ex: If a bath towel cost $5.00 each and for the month a total of 25 was laundry the total cost for that item will be $125.00.
