Questions and Answers
1. In relation to the maintenance contract, could you please verify that the maintenance tasks are indeed scheduled on a yearly basis? In relation to the maintenance contract, it has been scheduled on a yearly basis and can be adjusted accordingly.
2. Is there an incumbent for this contract? No
3. Will an UPS (uninterruptible power supply) be required? or Surge and lightning protection only?
There is no uninterrupted power supply requirement since we have a backup generator in the hospital and house power is preferred to be used for these types of systems. Unless requested.
4. Can you provide the brand and model of the POE Switch? if not, is it manage or unmanage? Not required.
5. What is the anticipated frequency of service calls per year for this CCTV system? Considering the reuse of devices and wiring, there is a possibility that it could lead to an increase in service calls.
Is there a set limit on the number of service calls allowed within a specific timeframe? The anticipated frequency of service calls for the system can be semi-annually or quarterly.
6. Are there any cameras currently installed on poles or needed to be installed on poles? No cameras on poles.
7. What is the estimated height of the cameras? Estimate height of the cameras is between 9 and 15 feet depending on the location inside the pharmacy.
8. How many cameras are installed outdoors, and how many are installed indoors? There are 36 cameras, and they are all located inside the pharmacy.
9. Would the use of a lift be necessary to service any of the cameras? No lift will be necessary.
10. What the current cabling, Fiber or CAT5/6? CAT5
11. Can the government provide clarification on how many camera feeds need to be viewed simultaneously on each monitor? The amount of camera feed that can be seen on the screen can be all 36 or a minimum of 12 cameras. However, at all times the cameras should be recording incase the view is not up you can always go back and see what is on the screen.
12. Can you provide clarification on the exact number of areas that will require patching and repainting? There will be no areas that will need painting or repatching as of now.
