Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat - Questions
1. Will the government consider an aluminum hull vessel? No
2. Is the government willing to consider an alternative to a rigid hull inflatable vessel? For example, would a foam sided vessel be considered acceptable? No
3. Will the government consider a 180-day delivery vice 145-day? No
4. Are the dimensions (length, beam, etc.) listed in the specification exact requirements, thresholds (i.e. not to exceed), or minimums (at least)? Exact Requirements
5. In reference to 2.5 - Radio, what is the make/model of the USSS supplied radio? USSS radio is a mobile VHF Spectra radio. But it is a stand-alone radio. Only requirement is to have
12V battery to power it and place for antenna.
6. In reference to 2.3 - Aft Tow Post, does the government also require a towline? No
7. Are twin fuel tanks required or will the government consider a single centerline tank that meets the capacity requirement? Twin tanks required.
8. Please confirm that the 3 Past Performance references do not count towards the 15 page limit of Part B – Technical. The 3 past performance references do not count towards the 15 page proposal limit.
