Attachment 4: Delivery Order Instructions

Delivery Orders

The Government will compete each delivery order. The delivery orders will be evaluated based on the following: price, delivery and past performance, to include performance on earlier orders placed with this contract.

Each delivery order will specify the task, quantity, delivery locations and period of performance in accordance with the terms of the contract.

All quotes provided will be good for 30 days. Contractors are strongly encouraged to offer discounted pricing from established contract prices.

When FEMA has a requirement, the order request for price proposals will be submitted to the e-mail and/or a call to the person designated as the 24 hours point of contact.

Contract awardee(s) will have four (4) hours to respond to Emergency Response/Surge order requests.

Delivery times for delivery orders will be in accordance with those listed in Section B.2 Delivery Schedule unless otherwise indicated.

Oral or telecommunicated orders will be allowed under this contract for emergency requirements. Such orders will be confirmed by a written task order within (5) business days following placement of the verbal order. Only the Contracting Officer is authorized to place orders under this contract.
