Statement of Work (SOW) For Region IX Regional Administrator Conference Room Oakland, California September 11, 2015

1.1 Introduction

The objective of this SOO is for a Contractor to provide a Performance Work Statement on Engineering, Acquiring, Installing, and Testing a fully functional Audio and VTC System in Regional Administrator Conference Room located at 1111 Broadway, suite 1200, Oakland, California 94607. The installation shall incorporate the use of all existing and newly purchased equipment.

1.2. The equipment

The Government will not be providing any equipment.

Installer must purchase Audio and VTC equipment as identified and requested by the government. A list of all equipment is attached.

In addition to the equipment purchase, the Government seeks commercial quality integration design and installation by a professional Audio/Video System provider. Offers will be evaluated through a best value determination considering the proposed technical solution and cost.

Capability to manage all video inputs and outputs from Creston receiver and room controller located on conference room table. Capability to push or stream multimedia content in support of VTC or conferences. Connectivity to the conference room table and components through an ADA compliant floor raceway or core drilling of the floor.

2. Additional Requirements Integration challenges or changes must be predefined.

Installer will provide all additional equipment needed in order to meet the overall objectives.

The contractor shall provide connectivity through the region’s network.

The contractor shall provide all necessary cable assembly and all cables to install all proposed equipment. All wiring must be installed in a neat and professional manner. Plastic tie-wraps will be used to secure cabling. All cables must be labeled with source/destination at both ends with machine made labels. Cable numbers can be used only if a master cable index is provided in both hard copy and electronic format

The contractor shall provide all necessary electrical service to install all proposed equipment.

The contractor will ensure existing walls can support the weight of equipment to be hung.

3. Installation

3.1 The vendor may perform a site survey to review installation requirements. Modifications to existing walls or electrical circuits are expected.

3.2 The contractor shall provide an installation plan that clearly identifies an installation schedule as part of the contractor’s proposal.

3.3 Site Coordination: The contractor shall meet with the safety officer immediately upon arrival on site for review of the specific safety requirements prior to installation.

3.4 Installation Plan Changes: If a problem develops during installation that warrants the change of the proposed solution, the contractor shall engineer and implement design changes only after written approval from the contracting officer.

3.5 Turn-Key Operation and Testing: The contractor shall install, test and perform all necessary efforts to ensure successful completion of this project and make operational the equipment. The contractor shall submit industry standard and site specific test and acceptance procedures for Government review and approval. The contractor shall perform approved test to obtain system acceptance. The contractor shall complete all installation and testing activities within 180 calendar days of award.
