FY17 DPW Day Board ISO Plywood Requirements The plywood required for the day boards for the FY17 ISO requirements and specifications are:
850 Sheets of Douglas Fir MDO Face “A” Grade Veneer Back ½” 48” X 96” Square Edge Plywood.
The A-side needs to be the backside (Bare plywood) Not the MDO side.
Per veneer back, not to exceed 30 each, glued in plugs per sheet as this is the side that the Retro film is applied to.
Plywood must only have minimal voids between layers.
To vendors;
We have had plywood in the past that have had plugs fall out or have had tape holding them in. We need to be assured the plugs will be glue in.
The wood is used for Navigation Day board Markers, and retro tape is applied to the bare plywood side only.
The wood does not need to be fire retardant.
The wood is used for signage, and not concrete.
