Highlighted in red are the answers to questions for HSCG28-13-Q-DJJ208

1. With a 24K GVWR obviously this gooseneck will be transporting a large amount of weight. Although it may seem obvious that it would be included would suggest calling out a minimum of 16” on center floor supports. As it stands a given vendor could hit specs with 24” on center providing a soft floor. If point load is a concern, other options are 12” on center supports and or double plywood main floor for a total of 1.5” thickness. 16” would be sufficient.

2. This unit will be heavy when loaded, would give thought to electric over hydraulic landing gear. Electric would be fine.

3. What is your requested interior height? 8’

4. If loads need to be secured, E-Track is a versatile system that can be installed on the walls or floor. It is sold by the running foot. No E-Tract needed 5.

6. The SOW includes both a 48” ATP riser and a 24” stone guard. The riser is behind the tires of the truck below the upper deck, where shall the 24” stone guard be installed? Go with standard option.

7. Please describe this CLIN: “2” X 3” partition wall w/o door”. Correction, wall that seperates upper and lower compartments

8. Would suggest adding more interior outlets for future use. Outlets are inexpensive during production and wiring is behind the walls, if added in the future conduit will be surface mount. Would like six outlets in convenient places to include the two work benches.

9. Another suggestion is a charge shelf. Often we will place a 4-5’ shelf 6’ or so above the floor with one or two 110v outlets above the shelf customers can use for Motorola radio chargers, DeWalt chargers, etc. Outlets can also be installed in your over head cabinet. Would like charge shelf and outlets in the over head cabinet.

10. Suggest increasing amount of 12v interior lights and adding a battery with charger. Although the interior will be well lit by the fluorescents, they require either a shoreline or generator. If the team is making a quick visit to stow gear, retrieve an item from a cabinet or the like the interior can be lighted with the 12v system. In addition, your 12v loading light needs a power source. Increase amount of 12v interior lights and add battery with charger.

11. Suggest a second loading light over rear door. Yes

12. Are bare plywood walls above the spray in liner the requirement? If you add a white aluminum wall liner you can use it for dry erase markers. Aluminum wall liner would be nice but not needed behind lockers and cabinets.

13. Are any windows required? No

14. What type of exterior 110v lights and what is the quantity? If you are considering 500w recessed scene lights you may want to research 12v LED ambulance style scene lights. If you look at the 500w lights in this industry you will notice they are the same lights you see on a garage. They simply were not intended for this application. Another problem with them is amp draw. The 7K generator provides 58 amps. Four 500w scene light, two a/c units and four 4’ ceiling lights pull 53.6 amps which does not leave much for the 120v outlets.
