| QUESTION | ANSWER |
| 1. Could you please clarify if the Teleradiology services include only X-rays, or will CT (Computed Tomography), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Ultrasound (US) be sent by the USCG locations? | Just X-ray. |
| 2. If there are different modalities, can you provide a breakdown of the quantity of each for pricing purposes? | N/A |
| 3. In regards to the transcription services, will we be able to log-in with single CHCS log-in or will multiple CHCS long-ins for each individual site be required? | The CG does not use CHCS anymore. |
| 4. Would each Radiologist be required to apply for privileges at each USCG location, or is there one centralized location who would hold the privileges for all the Radiologists for all the locations? | Priviliging is centralized. |
| 5. Are the studies generated under this solicitation all Plain Films, or will there be other modalities, e.g. Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resounance Images, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine? | Digital films, no other modalities. |
| 6. In accordance with paragraph 7.7 Crime Control Act of 1990 - regarding the background checks, it is understood that ONLY the transcriptionists will require access to CHCS and therefore they would be the only ones who would be subject to the background investigation. If we have already been vetted through the Navy JPAS, with another background investigation be required? | The CG does not use CHCS anymore. |
| 7. Does the access to CHCS require a CAC Card? If so, and we are already accessing the CHCS Navy and Army systems, would another CAC card be required? | The CG does not use CHCS anymore. |
| 8. Our partner is a VOSB Teleradiology company. Would you accept a proposal from a VOSB as the Prime? | This requirement is a SDVOSB set-aside. We will accept quotations from SDVOSBs, as noted in https://www.sba.gov/contracting/government-contracting-programs/service-disabled-veteran-owned-businesses |
Service-disabled veteran means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2), with a disability that is service-connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16).
"Small business concern" means a concern, including its affiliates, that is independently owned and operated, not dominant in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, and qualified as a small business under the criteria in 13 CFR part 121 and the size standard in paragraph (a) of this provision.
"Veteran-owned small business concern" means a small business concern- (1) Not less than 51 percent of which is owned by one or more veterans (as defined at 38 U.S.C. 101(2)) or, in the case of any publicly owned business, not less than 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more veterans; and
(2) The management and daily business operations of which are controlled by one or more veterans.
| 9. Would you delineate the actual type of films that would be read for these services (i.e.: CT Study, Standard X-Ray Readings; Ultrasound; MRI; Mammography; CT Abdomen/Pelvis; CT Chest/Abdomen/Pelvis?) | Just X-ray. |
| 10. Would you be using HL7 Interface? | |
| 11. Paragraph 5.2.16 identifies the Generation of Written Reports. In the body of that paragraph is: |
The clinic will have the sole responsibility for sending and tracking any reports and/or summaries directly to patients within the designated time guidelines as required by the MQSA.
| MQSA refers to Mammography Quality Standards Act and Program.... will the Government be sending Mammography studies under this contract? | There will be no mammography studies. | |
| 12. Does the radiologist have to be licenses in state where the read is completed? This is not required for VA. Just need a license from one state. | ||
| 13. What are the modality break outs in the pricing sheet? We typically price by CT, Xray, US, Nuclear, and MRI. | Just X-ray. |
| YELLOW = USCG IS STILL PREPARING A RESPONSE |
