Q1) The way the description is worded, I interpret this to mean that you don’t want any nuts of any sort in any of the granola bars. Is this the intent or are you saying that you don’t want a bar that is a nut flavor? Chocolate almond, as a theoretical example?

A1) Granola bars that contain nuts are acceptable. The SOW and solicitation will be changed to reflect this clarification.

Q2) I see that a size standard of 750 employees is listed. Is that the standard for “small business”?

A2) NAICS code 311821 applies to this procurement per block 10 on page 1 of the solicitation. Additional information regarding business size standards can be found at http://www.sba.gov/content/determining-business-size.

Q3) Do you have any particular food products in mind? Can you be more specific about what kind of food products the agency is looking for?

A3) Food products that are compliant with the SOW (pages 26-32 of the solicitation) will be acceptable for this procurement. Reference also page 5 of the solicitation regarding the definition of servings.

Q4) Please provide additional data not shown in the solicitation.

A4) The solicitation contains sufficient data for quotations against this requirement. Food products that are compliant with the SOW (pages 26- 32 of the solicitation) will be acceptable for this procurement.
