OVERALL QUESTIONS
Can we do one price for the whole site/station, or does it have to be broken up by LINs?
Does the contract include paper products? Yes, all cleaning supplies and paper products must be provided by the Contractor, and included in the proposal. The government will not furnish any supplies or products.
Can we get a copy of the current contract? Copies of contract documentation must be requested through FOIA channels to US Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP).
Please visit www.dhs.gov to determine who FOIA requests should be sent to. The Contracting Officer is not the FOIA coordinator for CBP.
Detainee census fluctuates daily. There is no way to be certain of how many detainees will be in any holding areas or to provide an average. Contractors should go by what they witnessed during the site walk through, and of course maximum capacity for each holding area.
What does one (1) ea mean on the SF1449? Refers to a single area.
Most descriptions include the total area for policing the grounds, sidewalks, and or parking lots, is this required also?
Sidewalks and entryways around the immediate building should be swept/policed.
Contractors are not responsible for policing the entire site (grounds maintenance) at every location.
