About this file
The document is a response to questions regarding an RFP (Request for Proposals) issued by the State of Idaho for Spanish Language Interpreter Training Services. The RFP is for IPRO 575, and the Department is seeking a contractor to provide virtual or in-person training courses primarily in Spanish to a bilingual target audience. The Quality Assurance plan is to ensure the contractor's performance meets the contract requirements, and the Transition Plan addresses what happens when the contract ends. The number of Rural Health Clinics in the scope has increased from 49 to 51.
The related state and local contract opportunity is for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to procure five (5) RV Carports to be installed in Nez Perce County. This is a standalone contract opportunity separate from the Spanish Language Interpreter Training Services RFP.

Question Response
1 CONTRACT
SERVICES AND
ACTIVITIES – A-
12 This can be done although all our courses are language neutral and taught in English. We are assuming the target audience needs to be bilingual for the success of the program, correct?
The attendees are typically bilingual in Spanish and English, and the courses are to be taught primarily in Spanish to ensure the success of the program.
2 CONTRACT
SERVICES AND
ACTIVITIES B-2
13 Venue arrangements for our services are always made by the client. Can this be negotiated? Our standard method if course delivery is virtual.
No, the Department must retain the option to choose if the training is provided in-person or through virtual learning.
3 IV. QUALITY
ASSURANCE
14 Can you clarify the ask here? A Quality Assurance plan in regard to our product? Or is it Quality Assurance of the performance of the learners after they have completed their training and passed the test?
The Quality Assurance Plan addresses how the Contractor must ensure their performance meets the Contract requirements and adherence to the scope of work.
4 V.
TRANSITION
PLAN
14 Can you clarify the ask here? Our training services are virtual, with little to no set up or transition.
The Transition Plan outlines what happens if the Contract ends and is transitioned back to the Department or to a new Contractor.
The number of Rural Health Clinics have increased from forty-nine (49) to fifty-one (51). The information in the spec document has been updated to reflect this change.
