About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) template for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) solicitation HR001124SC001. The SOW outlines the objectives and tasks required for transitioning DARPA-funded technologies into commercial solutions. Key tasks include identifying an entrepreneurial "Embedded Entrepreneur" to lead execution, defining and validating the commercial and government opportunity, performing competitive analysis, developing commercialization and financing strategies, analyzing technical and economic factors, and creating plans for manufacturing scale-up, marketing, and regulatory compliance. The SOW template also includes requirements for deliverables, government-provided support, and intellectual property. The related federal contract opportunity, solicitation HR001124SC001, seeks proposals for transitioning innovative solutions derived from DARPA R&D-funded technologies to fulfill requirements, close capability gaps, or provide new technological advancements.

Define metrics and milestones that will demonstrate the achievement of each objective and the proposed schedule for the achievement of metrics and milestones.
(NOTE: Not every objective below will be relevant to a proposed commercial solution, so proposed SOWs shall include only a subset of these objectives.)
1. Identify highly qualified, entrepreneurially experienced individual(s) to lead the execution of the SOW tasks and engage this(ese) individual(s) as Embedded Entrepreneur(s). This(ese) individual(s) will work with the Offeror to execute the tasks below. The Offeror will create a job description and description of the opportunity that can be used to help find appropriately skilled EEs. If an MVP is proposed, the proposed tasks for the SOW shall include the collection of feedback on Government and civilian customer requirements for features and functionality and describe how feedback will be collected.
