Refer to section 1.6.7 in the PWS and attachment

DD254 Contractor. Offerors must have a Secret Level

Facilities Clearance at time of the proposal submission, and must maintain that level of security for the life of the contract.

perform the same service at Naval, Army, Marine and Air Force bases except that the sites do not require Secret Level clearance.

Length Of The Clearance Investigation

Regardless of the security level, investigations take approximately

120 days or longer depending on the nature of the investigation and the completeness of the information provided.

Who Can Request A Security Clearance?

No military member or potential new hire may initiate the clearance process – this is done by the agency requiring the clearances. Also, if a company is qualified to bid on a program that requires a classified proposal, the Government sponsor may request your company be granted a facility clearance.

The Government also require personnel to have

Secrete level clearance based on what they will be working on. The Government does not expect them to have facility clearance as all the work and documentation will be here on site.

12. We would be happy to bid on this request. We employed all our available resources in order to do so. One issue we face is not having a Facility

Clearance. Without a Secret Level contract, we don’t have a need for a Facility
