This sources sought announcement is a request for information only. This is NOT a solicitation, and NO Proposals are being requested or accepted. No contract will be awarded from this notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. Market research is being performed to determine the best method to advertise for the government’s needs. Responses received, will determine the type of solicitation to issue. The Government reserves the right to cancel this sources sought. The Bridger-Teton National

Forest, Blackrock Ranger District in Moran, WY anticipates soliciting for seven riding horses.

The Government is seeking responses from vendors interested in and capable of supplying all of the required horses.

The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of interested parties including, Large Business, Small Business (SB) Under the Size Standard of $2.75M; Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), 8(a);

Historically Underutilized Business (Hubzone); Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); Economically

Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), and Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB).

Responses are restricted to U.S. businesses that will be registered and active in the System for Award Management

(SAM), www.sam.gov at the time a potential solicitation is issued.

The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 112920 Horses and Other

Equine Production which carries a small business size standard of $2.75M. It is anticipated that the horses will be procured by a firm fixed-price contract.

All interested, capable, qualified, and responsive businesses are encouraged to reply to this announcement. The

Government is requesting that interested parties furnish/address the following information.

1: Company name, UEID from SAM.gov, address (where horses may be evaluated), point of contact, telephone number, and e-mail address.

2: Type of business (Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Hubzone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business)

3: Information that your business is able to provide seven riding horses. (non-gaited)

In order to determine the extent of industry interest and capability, interested parties must submit responses by email to Whit Fausett, arlen.fausett@usda.gov. Responses are due on July 29, 2024 by 10:00 AM Mountain Time.
