Attachment 2 - Specifications

Specifications for “Brand Name or Equal to” Second Step Program

Description of Supplies and Services: Seeking to supplement the Second Step Program that DoDEA has purchased for all Elementary Schools in the past. The program should include grades K-8. A different program for each level (K-5) is needed so that students who are in our DoDEA schools for multiple years will have different material at each grade. The material purchased will need to be provided for all the DoDEA Pacific elementary schools.

The program should be able to provide the following:

Different materials for each grade (K-5).

Online training for Teachers and/or Counselors Handouts for Parents Video Library Interactive DVD to lead classroom discussions CD’s that provide an opportunity for students to show their creativity and encourage expression.

Lesson Plans for each grade Scope and Sequence for each grade Alignment to the American School Counselor Association’s Standards Research Based Data Driven Evaluation Tool to rate effectiveness of implementation
