Courses Technical Questions

# Question Response 1 How does DoDEA define a “seat” for the purposes of a seat-based license? (e.g. Unique user with enrollments in one or more courses)?

DoDEA looks to the vendor to define how they structure and price a seat license as all vendors structure and price differently.

2 Can we include additional information, which we consider essential to the proposal, as Appendices in our RFQ response?

Yes, you can include additional information.

3 Will DoDEA use their current LMS (Schoology) for the life of this contract?

DoDEA does not dislose future contractual requirements.

4 Please specify the number of teachers to be trained? The number of DoDEA teachers is based on enrollment.

5 Are students taking more than one online course from our catalog at the same time? Does this apply to the summer courses?

Question 1: Yes, it is possible for a DoDEA student to take more than one online course at the same time. Question 2: Yes, in accordance with paragraph 2.2.2.5 of the

Performance Work Statement: offer courses during the school year and extended year

(summer school), per DoDEA's various school calendars, which vary by region.
