HE125420Q0017- K-5 Health Education Curriculum --Questions and Answers
Areas of ResponsibilityQuestion #QuestionAnswer
Program Office1There appears to be some discrepancies in the RFP and Supporting documents related to tasks under 2.4 Professional Learning. In the statement of work document and statement of work in the RFP, these tasks stop at 2.4.2 and do not mention in-person training. Elsewhere in the RFP the tasks include additional tasks 2.4.3. And 2.4.4, which includes in-person training. Can you clarify, which is correct?Year 1: Professional learning will be in the format of webinars to introduce teachers to the curriculum. The purpose is to introduce teachers to the content and not overwhelm them with a new curriculum. Year 2: Face-to-face contact provides more support for teachers after they have been introduced to the content in Year 1 and have begun teaching it for the first time. Years 3 and 4 allow for continued support for teachers as they continue to get more comfortable delivering instruction and may have more detailed instructional questions after having gained experience delivering the content in years 1 and 2.
Program Office2In looking at your spreadsheet I'm not sure what you're asking for between "# of teachers" and "Number of Classroom Students" as well as the meaning of # of classroom sets ... is this student workbook sets of 30? Or are these teacher setsClassroom sets are the number of sets that allow for each student to receive a curriculum instructional material. The ratio is 1 student per 1 instructional material (for example workbook or textbook) etc Classroom sets should be enough to provide 1:1 materials for each student in a classroom of 30 students.
