QUESTIONS (Q) AND ANSWERS (A)

The purpose of the amendment is to:

Provide answers to questions received in response to this solicitation. Question (Q) and Answers (A)

Q. I noticed in the Solicitation that CLIN 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001, and 4001 has a quantity of 12 users, while the statement of work says 15 users. So that I can provide an accurate quote, can you please let me know exactly how many users need access to the image subscription?

A. 12 as the final number (Statement of Work updated to reflect 12 as the required amount).

Q) The previous award for this contract did not state a need for the images to be copied and migrated to DoDEA’s

Integrated Digital Asset Management System. Is this a new requirement for Solicitation HE125418Q0001?

A. Specifying that we are putting the images in our Integrated Digital Asset Management System is a new requirement.

Q) Adobe Stock provided stock subscription based on the amount of images that will be licensed through the course of 1 year not based on users. How many assets do you anticipate licensing throughout 1 year for these 12 users?

Q1). How many images per year?

a)ANSWER: (12 users), (approx. 100 images per month per user) ==> 1200 images per month ==> 14,400 per year.

How many images we use per month per user is a moving target because it's based on the types of rojects that we create depending upon the time of year. It can range from none to a couple hundred.

Q2). How many videos per year?

a) We do not have a requirement for videos. Videos are not part of the solicitation

Q3). Any other type of assets?

a) We do not have requirements for any other types of assets.

The following have been modified:

STATEMENT OF WORK

Digital Image Access for Instructional Design Services

1.0. INTRODUCTION

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) serves the educational needs of about 71,000 dependents of military and civilian employees by providing pre-kindergarten

(PK)-12 instruction in 165 brick-and-mortar schools worldwide. Student enrollment varies based primarily on the deployment of military troops worldwide. Our curriculum, resources, and student achievement scores on standardized assessments compare favorably to those of high-performing US public school systems. In North America DoDEA operates 52 schools located in seven states, Puerto Rico, and Cuba. In Europe and the Middle East, DoDEA operates 65 schools located in Germany, England, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Turkey and Bahrain. In the Pacific, DoDEA operates 48 schools located in Korea, Japan (mainland and Okinawa), and Guam. DoDEA also operates a fully accredited Virtual

High School with hubs in the US, Europe, and Pacific.

2.0. BACKGROUND

DoDEA currently has a substantial investment in e-learning products for students and staff.

The Instructional Design Services Branch is responsible for providing selected visual design services for the agency, just-intime online coursework and blended learning for secondary students (Grades 7-12), and professional development courses and resources for educators and other agency staff. Online distribution of coursework and resources occurs primarily through our designated learning management system (LMS), which is currently Schoology and our website, http://www.dodea.edu/.
