The following items are applicable to this modification:

Responses to contractor questions.

1. What, if any updates, changes or accommodations have been made to stocking and/or custodial practices given the COVID-19 health crisis? What are they? Will they be in place for the foreseeable future? How, if at all, has the shift in practice impacted the personnel requirements?

A: While there has been additional RSHA and custodial support during the COVID-19 crisis, prospective offerors should submit proposals based on the solicited requirements. Additional, in-scope services to support COVID-19 are discussed with the contractor within the existing contracted schedule.

2. Does the commissary currently use any barcoding or scanning technology during the unloading or shelf stocking processes? If so, please provide the name and type of technology used. If not, what latitude does the Contractor have to implement such technology? Is prior approval needed?

A: The commissary does not use any barcoding or scanning technology during unloading or shelf stocking processes. The Contractor does not have latitude to implement technology during the unloading or shelf stocking processes.

3. Please provide a copy of the inventory procedures along with a sample alternative work schedule.

A: Inventory schedules are based on the scale of the inventory conducted. The support needs are discussed with the contractor prior to the inventory dates.

4. Aside from OSHA, what other certifications are required for employees?

A: Employee requirements are outlined in the Performance Work Statement.
