1. Could you please provide the specifications for the existing cubicles and seating? This will help us ensure compatibility and maintain consistency with the new installation. See attached pictures

2. Would you be able to share recent photos of the current cubicles and seating? Visual references are very helpful for planning and coordination. See attached pictures

3. Regarding the Screening Lobby (Room 113A): We noticed that the chairs and tables in this area don’t appear to have specific finish requirements. Could you please confirm whether there are any existing finishes we should match? Additionally, do you have any preferences for colors or materials in this space? The PWS should have been issued along with Appendices A through F. See “Appendix B -Furniture Installation and General Requirements”.

4. Could you please provide the electrical drawings for the site, including those relevant to the current project in the security and office areas? This will help us coordinate installation and ensure alignment with existing infrastructure. These will be provided upon the award of contract.

5. Would it be possible to obtain the panel schedules for the site? These are essential for planning power distribution and load management. These will be provided upon the award of contract.

6. Can you confirm whether power and data for the security desk in Room 113 (as shown on sheet E-100) are part of our scope, or are they being handled under the current project? Clarifying this will help us avoid duplication and ensure proper coordination. Some work will be provided by a project that is underway. However, this Furniture Project requires further communication work. Refer to PWS sections 6.1.1.2.1, 6.1.1.2.11 and 6.8. Also refer to the Concept Drawings (Appendix A), sheet E-100, General Notes 5 and 6. No electrical power is required by this Furniture Project in Room 113.

7. We noticed that Janitor Closet 166 houses the panels currently being used for this project. With only three spare circuits available in Panel LB4, will another electrical room be utilized for the remaining circuits? Alternatively, should we include an allowance for investigating and potentially reusing existing unused circuits? Electrical cable should be available above the ceiling – this is work will be installed by a project that is currently under way - see PWS, section 6.7. This Furniture Project should utilize the cables above the ceiling – and connect the furniture to them. See Concept Drawings (Appendix A), sheet E-100, Keynote 10 (and “j-boxes” located on plan and with Keynote 10). Also see PWS, section 6.2.

8. Does Big State need to provide a quote for security or fire alarm systems as part of this proposed project? Please let us know if this is within our scope or if it will be handled separately. No – not for this Furniture Project.

9. How many new cat6 cable and electrical circuits does the new furniture require? See PWS 6.8.1 for communication cable needs. Theoretically – no new electrical circuits should be required (if the current project that is underway does its work properly). Per Appendix B, section 2.4,k not more than 4 cubicles can be placed on a circuit – and that circuit shall be dedicated to serve only those cubicles.
