About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) regarding a requirement for a 111.8GB (OTU4) commercial circuit between Naples, Italy and Stuttgart, Germany. The purpose of the RFI is to conduct market research and gather information from industry on their capability to meet this requirement. DISA is seeking responses to several key questions, including whether the capacity exists today, the lead time to design and implement the circuit, whether it can be provided without using covered equipment, and the approximate pricing for OTU4 or 100GbE solutions. Interested parties are requested to submit a white paper response by December 18, 2024, which will not be considered an offer. DISA may choose to hold one-on-one discussions with potential vendors to obtain further clarification on their capabilities. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not commit the government to issuing a solicitation or awarding a contract.
