About this file
This is a Design/Build project specification document for the City of Fayetteville, North Carolina, detailing the Hay Street Parking Deck Elevator initiative. The project solicits qualification statements from qualified firms to provide comprehensive Design Build services encompassing architectural, engineering, and construction management services for the design and planning of the proposed elevator installation within the existing Hay Street Parking Deck. The selection process is based on qualifications, with negotiations to follow the initial selection of a Design Builder. Upon selection, a detailed Scope of Work will be developed collaboratively between the City and the selected firm to outline specific project requirements, deliverables, and performance standards. The project represents the City's commitment to enhancing parking infrastructure accessibility through the addition of elevator service to the existing parking facility.
The document does not specify detailed pricing terms, contract duration, or renewal options within the materials provided. No incumbent contractor information, specific funding amounts, or distinct funding sources are detailed in this file. The project will proceed through a negotiated contract agreement phase following the Design Builder selection, at which point financial terms, project timeline, and completion requirements will be established. This Design/Build delivery method allows for integrated design and construction services, potentially accelerating project delivery and enhancing coordination between design and construction phases.
