About this file

This document is a Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) issued by the Maryland State Police (MSP) Quartermaster Division for a Cisco hardware contract under the State of Maryland's Hardware Master Contract 1. The PORFP is seeking proposals for various Cisco networking equipment, including a 48-port switch, under Functional Areas I, III, and VI, with an installation and training services component under Functional Area IV. The PORFP is limited to Master Contractors awarded under the 2012 Hardware and Associated Equipment and Services contract, and is designated as a Small Business Reserve procurement. Proposals are due on January 15, 2024, and the products have a delivery date of July 1, 2024. The contract will have an initial term, with potential renewal options.

The PORFP includes specific requirements such as providing new and unused equipment, no restocking fees, and including a Mercury Affidavit and manufacturer's suggested retail price with the bid. The award will be made to the Master Contractor whose proposal is most advantageous to the State, considering price and the evaluation factors set forth in the PORFP. The procurement is funded by the MSP Quartermaster Division, and only certified small businesses are eligible to receive the award.
