About this file
This document is a Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) issued by the Maryland State Police Quartermaster Division for a Cisco Nexus 9K hardware procurement and associated services. The PORFP is limited to master contractors awarded under the State of Maryland's Hardware and Associated Equipment and Services 2012 contract, Functional Area I. This is a Small Business Reserve procurement, with award limited to certified small businesses in Maryland. The PORFP requests hardware, software, installation, training, and warranty services for Cisco Nexus 9K networking equipment, with a due date of November 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Delivery of the equipment is required by January 1, 2024 and must be to the Maryland State Police Quartermaster Division location in Jessup, Maryland.
The PORFP sets forth specific requirements including no restocking fees, provision of estimated ship dates, authorization as a Cisco reseller, and submission of a Mercury Affidavit. Pricing terms require proposals to be valid for at least 90 days, and the state reserves the right to purchase more or less than the specified quantities. This PORFP is part of a larger statewide contract opportunity focused on Nexus 9K smart licensing for the State of Maryland and participating local jurisdictions such as Howard County.
