About this file
These are Industry Day slides for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation's Hardware Acquisition Recompete (HAR) contract, scheduled for 7 May 2025 in Richmond, VA. The solicitation covers two primary contract vehicles: Hardware Acquisition Recompete-Customer Direct (HARCd) and Hardware Acquisition Recompete-DLA Direct (HARDd), focusing on integrated supply chain logistics for industrial hardware across multiple Federal Supply Class (FSC) categories including fasteners, springs, brackets, and abrasive materials.
The contract aims to provide timely support to U.S. Military, Foreign Military, and non-Military customers with key requirements including 90% Customer Direct Availability, on-time delivery standards, and small business participation. The notional timeline indicates the solicitation will be issued in September 2025, with proposal receipt in January 2026, negotiations in July 2026, and contract award by January 2027. The current contract ends in July 2026, with a potential partial extension to bridge to the new contract. Interested vendors can contact the Contracting Officer Christina Richardson or Program Manager Lance Cangelosi for additional information.
