About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA) through Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) for a Handheld Spectrometer. The RFI is strictly for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to issue a Request for Proposal or award a contract. The government is conducting market research to determine applicable planning and acquisition strategy based on respondent capabilities. Interested companies must submit responses in MS Word or Adobe PDF format to Edward Chilson (edward.a.chilson.civ@army.mil) no later than Friday, 06 November 2026, at 12:00 PM CDT. Respondents should indicate whether their company is a small business and identify any applicable socio-economic concerns (HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.). Responses should address whether pricing is offered through GSA or open market channels. A Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to the RFI for reference. No evaluation results or notification letters will be issued to participants, though the Contracting Officer will utilize the submitted information for technical and acquisition planning. Proprietary information must be clearly marked to prevent dissemination in government documents. Future solicitation announcements will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website.
