About this file
This is a pricing sheet for a fire pump replacement project solicited by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) for Building C in Atlanta, Georgia. The procurement requires proposers to submit itemized lump-sum pricing for six line items: a diesel fire pump with controllers and related equipment, a new 200-gallon double-wall fuel tank with removal and connections, piping and electrical systems, removal of existing equipment and complete installation, permits and inspections with startup and testing, and training with closeout documentation. The pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for November 2, 2026 at 4:00 p.m., with proposals due November 11, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Written questions must be submitted by November 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., with clarifications issued by November 5, 2026. Proposer presentations and interviews will be scheduled at a later date. The project scope includes removal and replacement of a 2,000 gallons-per-minute diesel fire pump assembly at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Pricing must be submitted as firm, itemized lump-sum amounts for each line item, with the base bid including fuel tank replacement and all related work totaling to a base bid total. A separate optional deductive alternate allows proposers to credit GWCCA for retaining the existing fuel tank only with written approval and confirmation that code compliance, UL listing, warranty, or Authority Jurisdiction approval is unaffected. The GWCCA is tax-exempt, and proposers should not include sales tax on qualifying purchases. Proposers must demonstrate a minimum of five consecutive years of comparable diesel fire pump replacement experience and provide three references from similar projects completed within the previous five years. A performance bond or irrevocable letter of credit equal to 100 percent of the contract amount is required. The successful contractor must provide at least a one-year workmanship warranty beginning upon GWCCA's written final acceptance, with manufacturer warranties assigned or made available to the Authority. Evaluation criteria include Experience and Qualifications (25 percent), Technical Approach and Equipment (30 percent), Project Schedule and Coordination (15 percent), and Cost Proposal (30 percent). A communication restriction is in effect; respondents may contact Authority officials only through formal question submissions.
