About this file
This document is a set of Questions and Answers related to a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for a Guardrail Safety Training program.
The NOFO seeks applications for a cooperative agreement award of up to $500,000 to provide technical assistance, develop training support materials, and conduct webinar trainings for roadway agency standards engineers/sections. The goal is to improve guardrail design and installation and advance the Department of Transportation's National Roadway Safety Strategy.
The Q&As cover the scope of the technical assistance review, expectations for hosting training support materials, the focus of the interactive tool and training materials, and the format for the training presentation. Responses to questions will be provided to potential grant recipients who subscribe to the opportunity on Grants.gov under number 693JJ324NF00007. The program is funded under the Highway Planning and Construction (CFDA 20.205) grant program.
