ELECTRONIC PROJECT MANAGEMENT (e-PM) SYSTEM
0.0 PURPOSE
GSA will require the Contractor to utilize an Enterprise electronic Project Management (e-PM) system on this project. GSA's goal is to implement this state-of-the art technology to reduce administrative and overhead costs, eliminate redundancies, and institute a collaboration tool to ensure better accountability among all project team members. This technology will provide up-to-date information, encourage disciplined methods for monitoring progress, ensure better communication regarding changes, provide improved documentation, and enable PBS executives to have real-time access to status of projects.
1.0 DEFINITION
e-PM is defined as an internet-based information and project communication system that allows the entire project team to collaborate in a centralized and secured repository. All project-specific correspondence, workflow processes, and documentation will be stored and routed within the e-PM system.
