Questions and Answers:

1. Is this a renewal for the contract that was awarded in 2012? Yes.

2. Will this contract be used as a major supplier for energy requirements? No.

3. In regard to design portfolio and project examples, what would be most beneficial for firms to submit? It is up to the firms to decide and make their best business decision based on what is stated in the synopsis. It could not hurt to provide renovation examples which could also include items such as replacing chillers/mechanical upgrades.

4. Is there a page limit for the communication plan? No.

5. Are we looking for an actual communication plan or a description? At least provide a general description. Firms can provide a lengthy full plan, but please provide an executive overview.

6. What are the subcontracting goals? The goals are listed in Section 1 of the Synopsis. These are not per task order goals.

7. Is there anything different with this synopsis than in the past or is there anything that is really important for GSA in regard to this synopsis? GSA is placing more emphasis on security. Impact began around 2000. More ballistic glazing, blast studies by the National Office, more bollards. There has been a push for space reduction, Sustainability has become more important along with the need for greater mechanical and electrical performance.

8. Is FF&E a part of this contract? Typically not.

9. Is this synopsis the same as the one put out in June of this year? Yes.

10. When does GSA anticipate a short list coming out for this? Perhaps early

March.

11. Preference on the maximum number of pages for the entire SF330 submittal?

No.

12. Is there supposed to be a Section D? Yes. Follow the SF330 format for your submittal.

13. What happened with the June synopsis? There were not enough highly qualified submittals to move forward.

14. November 28th at 5pm CST is the deadline for question submittals.
