About the Company: RJH Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Services, LLC (RJH) is dedicated to heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and kitchen cooking equipment problem solving with a 24/7 manned emergency response service dispatch center. The company is departmentalized with one division providing heating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) maintenance and repair services; the second provides kitchen cooking and equipment repairs and service; and the last provides equipment replacement for HVACR and kitchen cooking equipment.

RJH has been performing HVAC & Refrigeration services for government and commercial clients since its start in 1998. We do not work on new-construction projects, and our focus has always been making existing facilities better: safer, efficient and comfortable. In the years since we’ve been in business, we have established excellent credit, an impressive aggregate bonding capacity, a line of credit and solid long-term relationships with equipment, material vendors and subcontractors. We work safely and have an employee safety program that includes training, lines of authority and project-specific safety plans.

Unlike some O&M contractors, we have an established, operational business outside of the facilities we take care of, including a service and installation division with tradespeople on staff like project managers, superintendents, administrative and logistics support headquartered inside the DC Metro Area, a fleet of vehicles, tools of the trade, equipment, parts and materials, a logistics department, a 24-hour manned dispatch office with loading docks and warehouse space.

RJH has grown steadily, year after year, adding new building and trade services relating to energy projects and facilities O&M. We take care of millions of square feet of premium government office space and specialize in making old buildings better by utilizing the proper and professional methods for maintaining facilities. We perform millions of dollars of billable work at our facilities each year, comprising all types of building services.

http://www.gsaadvantage.gov/

We can provide emergency support to our clients and assist them with budget and design for their major systems and equipment replacement. We have expertise from system design, installation, upgrade, retrofit, maintenance and ultimate replacement, so we can help our clients and building management teams find solutions that save them money and natural resources throughout system and equipment lifecycles. At many of our facilities, we work with the building management teams to preserve our national heritage by performing building services with an emphasis on historical preservation.

All our facilities contracts contain conservation and energy-efficiency requirements, and we assist the building management team with their conservation, curtailment and energy efficiency goals.

Even though RJH is a self-performing contractor and most of work we perform is done with our own employees, many of our projects have equipment, materials, parts or services from vendors.

Vendors and subcontractors can provide specialized knowledge and expertise and may provide a cost-effective solution for some services. This catalog contains information about our GSA Schedule services.

Business Size: RJHs is a small business in primary NAICS 238220. See SAM system for size standards for all NAICS codes.

Category Descriptions:

SCLS Labor Categories Note About Experience and Education for Trades Workers Jurisdictions across the nation do not have the same experience, education and certification processes for licensing, although the trades typically recognize three broad categories of skill: Entry or Apprentice; Tradesperson and Master. We have used the terminology "journeyperson-level" and “master-level” to indicate that skill level is present in the worker, even if the jurisdiction where work is solicited does not have formal licensing. It is standard practice in the trades to allow licensing with experience only, or a combination of education and experience. We have indicated the minimum amount of experience for licensing in our jurisdiction, with the understanding that other requirements for education and formal testing to satisfy the requirements have been met.
