Item AD2-M1 – Mechanical Revisions Refer to Reissued Drawing MD103:

Temporary HVAC provisions. Revise drawings to reflect provisions to keep existing cooling/ventilation active in phase 4 construction boundary during phase 2 construction. This includes connecting flex ducts between separate existing systems and cutting and capping existing ductwork near phase 2/4 boundary as shown. The interior linear diffuser extended from phase 3 boundary will be from phase 3 temperature sensor control. The exterior diffuser control will require connecting associated duct dampers and temperature sensing to operate parallel with existing 14NW induction unit. Phasing key notes 1 thru 4 have been added and applied in this drawing. Because this work is to occur at the start of phase 2 but occurs in phase 4 construction boundary, this work needs to occur after hours and without disturbance to phase 4 occupied space.

Refer to Reissued Drawing M103:

Temporary HVAC provisions. Revise drawings to reflect provisions to provide cooling/ventilation from new phase 2 ductwork to serve phase 4 construction boundary during phase 3 construction. This includes installing VAV-14.01 and associated diffusers and temperature sensor all in temporary location shown. Once phase 4 begins, these HVAC components should be relocated to final destination (different than previously shown) on plans. Note that some increased duct sizing and reconfiguration of upstream 14NE ductwork has been applied. Ductwork installed at temporary VAV-14.01 will be temporary in nature and diffuser runouts can be routed using flex duct. New phasing key note 8 has been added and applied in drawing.
