DEMOUNTABLE PARTITIONS 102219
SECTION 102219 – DEMOUNTABLE PARTITIONS
1.1 SECTION INCLUDES
This specification defines the existing TrendWall 9’ floor-to-ceiling panel system, which is designed to provide enclosed office spaces in an open plan environment and the ability to modify or reconfigure the office space to meet changing office requirements.
The system consists of connecting structural panels with provisions for mounting furniture systems components and is fully integrateable and compatible with open plan office systems.
The scope of this project is to remove, salvage, store on-site temporarily, and relocate/ re-install 100% of the demountable wall system shown in the construction drawings.
New demountable wall systems or components are not anticipated. This is a phased project and the contractor is responsible for coordination of storage and relocation schedule. Some existing demountable walls may need to be removed early in future phases to meet the needs of the earlier phases. This can be coordinated during construction. Contractor is responsible for submitting documentation and floor plans for both existing demountable wall plans and new plans. If any new wall system is needed for any reason, including but not limited to (damaged or shortage of existing components) it will be addressed during the construction process.
Temporary storage of salvaged components is to be located in the lower level as shown on drawings, GC101.
