ABOUT NVIS

Corporate Experience NVIS manufactures professional virtual reality displays that allow users to visually explore and interact with simulated 3D environments. Our products can be found in the most demanding training, simulation, and research applications around the world. NVIS products are designed to make VR technology more widespread and accessible in more applications than ever before.

Expertise NVIS products represent the culmination of more than 30 man-years of experience in optical, electrical, and mechanical engineering. Our engineering team understands the history of VR and the changing requirements of our customers. This insight provides NVIS with the tools to advance the state-of-the-art for virtual reality displays, and bring to market innovative products designed to provide unsurpassed visual performance in a device that is comfortable and easy to use.

Products NVIS manufactures immersive computer displays which support interactive training and simulation solutions in a diverse range of professional virtual reality applications for military and industry worldwide. Our products incorporate state-of-the-art near-to-eye display technology to address the growing demand for cost-effective visual training and simulation solutions. Our nVisor family of head-mounted displays (HMDs) includes the fully immersive SX111 with more than 100 degrees field-of-view, the MH60 helmet-mounted displays for high-fidelity pilot and aircrew training, and the ST50 – a lightweight, high-resolution, see-through display with unprecedented image quality for an HMD priced under $20k. NVIS also offers a growing line of hand-held and embedded displays including simulated binoculars, laser range finders, and virtual siting systems for vehicle and weapons training.

Commitment NVIS is committed to providing the best customer service and support in the industry. Our customers and partners make large investments in our products and we respect this by offering full service product warranties and lifetime technical support. Every successful user helps grow our business and we never take this for granted.

Innovation

NVIS engineers are actively involved in developing the next generation of virtual reality displays. Although our industry has matured, we've seen little progress towards building truly wearable displays. NVIS plans to address this widespread weakness with innovative new designs that provide superior ergonomic features for an easy to use, more comfortable HMD.

Since we started in 2002, NVIS has participated in the Department of Defense’s SBIR/STTR program. These projects provide NVIS with funding for new product development that serve our military's visual training requirements while expanding our product line of commercially available, high-performance VR displays.

Future With industry leading display products deployed throughout the world, supported by a commitment to our customers and their applications, NVIS moves forward with the technical and financial strength to expand its product line with user-focused, ergonomically designed, professional virtual reality displays. The next generation of NVIS products will support our growing customer base with more robust visual performance and greater reliability, while attracting emerging applications such as dismounted soldier training and medical visualization.

NVIS is excited to continue advancing the technology in our industry and provide our knowledge and products to the growth of Virtual Reality.
