Clarifications cont.

Q46 : Where will the load bank be placed so we can estimate the length of cable and wireway?

A46: As discussed at the site walk and graphically shown on sheets E400 & E401, the load bank is existing. The load bank is to the west of the west generator wall. It is physically approximately 30’ away (contractor must verify this information). There is already 2” conduit to the load bank as noted on sheets E400 & E401.

Q47: Who is providing the load bank?

A47: A noted on E400 & E401 the load bank is existing.

Q48: When will the load bank test be run and by whom?

A48 : The controls of the existing load bank will not be affected.

Q49 : The amendment says to add a circuit breaker, what ampacity? Can a fused disconnect switch be used in lue of a circuit breaker.

A49: As noted in A44 the existing load bank has a 100 KW load capacity. Calculations show

120.28 A @ 480 VAC which implies a 125 A 3 PH breaker. The breaker may be installed in the ATS panel that is being stripped (if code compliant) as noted on sheet E400.
