About this file

This is a procurement announcement document from Glynn County, Georgia, detailing the implementation of a new e-Procurement Portal system for bid solicitation and vendor management. The document is associated with IFB27-005, a project to replace safety netting in the plaza and spectator areas of the baseball and softball complexes at North Glynn Recreation Complex located at 622 Harry Driggers Blvd, Brunswick, Georgia. The county has transitioned from a paper-based bidding process to an automated, web-based electronic system managed through OpenGov. The target project timeframe for completion is late November/early December 2026 through the end of February 2027, with the schedule designed to minimize disruption to year-round county recreational leagues and non-county athletic tournaments that utilize the four-field complexes.

The e-Procurement Portal enables vendors to register and subscribe to receive notifications of future opportunities, follow updates to existing solicitations and receive amendments automatically, submit questions for open solicitations, and submit responses electronically to ensure accurate completion. All interested parties must access the system through the Glynn County e-Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/glynncounty to register and participate in bidding. The announcement does not specify pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or contract award and term details, as this document functions as a system implementation and process notification rather than a comprehensive solicitation specification document.
