About this file

This is a procurement portal guidance document issued by Glynn County, Georgia in conjunction with OpenGov, detailing the transition from a paper-based bidding system to an electronic procurement platform. The document outlines the county's shift to a fully automated, web-based electronic bidding and vendor management system accessible through the e-Procurement Portal. The solicitation referenced in this guidance pertains to Disaster Logistics Support Services (26-008), for which Glynn County seeks qualified, licensed, bonded, and insured contractors capable of providing equipment, personnel, technical and logistical support, and project management services to support disaster response operations within the county. No specific response dates, due dates, site visits, bidders' meetings, award dates, or contract terms are detailed in this guidance document.

The document serves primarily as instructional material for vendors registering and participating in Glynn County's new electronic bidding system rather than providing substantive procurement details. Vendors are directed to the OpenGov portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/glynncounty to register, subscribe to future opportunities, follow solicitation updates, and submit electronic bids. The portal will automatically distribute amendments and addenda to registered vendors and guide contractors through the electronic submission process. No pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, funding amounts, or other financial details are provided in this guidance document.
