About this file

This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for bridge preservation work at Golden Gate National Recreation Area in California. The National Park Service, Denver Service Center, will issue a formal solicitation (140P2026R0053) in August 2026 for a single prime contract with an estimated 200-calendar-day performance period. The work encompasses concrete repair, guardrail repair, tree removal, stormwater management installation, timber replacement and preservation, sidewalk joint repair, and steel rail painting across five project locations: Easkoot Bridge near Stinson Beach, Rodeo Lagoon Pedestrian Bridge and Rodeo Lagoon Road Bridge near Saulsalito, Point Bonita structures along the Point Bonita Trail Corridor near Saulsalito, Crissy Field Bridge in San Francisco, and Point Lobos Viaduct in San Francisco.

The procurement is classified under NAICS Code 237310 (Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction) with a $45 million size standard and will be competed as a Small Business Set-Aside. This is currently an unfunded requirement with high expectation that funds will become available, at which time a contract will be awarded. The proposal receipt date will be established in the formal solicitation documents. All responsible sources may submit offers, and vendors are encouraged to work with the Small Business Administration to identify qualified subcontractors.
