The Town of Glastonbury personnel will furnish and maintain exclusionary fencing to protect Box Turtle and Green Snake habitat, and contractors must coordinate work accordingly. The project start date requires mutual agreement between the contractor and Town staff. All bids must acknowledge this addendum by referencing its number on Page BP-1 of the Bid Proposal, with the revised bid due date of March 31, 2026 at 11:00 A.M.

Concrete footings shall conform to ConnDOT Form 819 specifications for Class PCC3360 (3,300 PSI). Installation requires coordination with all subcontractors and Town entities, hand excavation where electrical conduits are present, and contractor facilitation of electrical conduit mark-out prior to post installation. The work will be measured and paid by the accepted number of completed and accepted timber posts at the unit price listed in the bid proposal, with excavation, backfilling, compaction, and disposal of excess materials included in the unit price. All exposed top edges of timbers must be chamfered 1 inch and lightly sanded to produce eased edges, and the contractor is responsible for site cleanup and removal of all waste materials and equipment upon completion.
