About this file
This is a Market Research Questions document attached to an RFI for the Medical/Surgical Prime Vendor Program (Med/Surg PV) Generation VI, issued by DLA Troop Support. The document contains 67 detailed questions seeking information about potential vendors' capabilities, including business classification, distribution networks, EDI capabilities, delivery timeframes, emergency response abilities, pricing models, and customer service capabilities.
The associated RFI seeks responses by February 28, 2025, to inform the acquisition strategy for a planned 10-year contract (2.5-year base period with three 2.5-year options) covering three TRICARE Global regions (North, South, and West). The program requires a single distributor to provide next-day delivery of commercial medical/surgical supplies to Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs). Vendors must be authorized distributors under designated contracting instruments, providing brand-name specific or generic commercial products. Responses should be sent to Beatrice Lopez-Pollard at DLA Troop Support Philadelphia, either by mail or email.
